Character History:

Background:

Christian Andrew Newman is the son of Victor "Adam" Newman Jr. and the late Sage Warner. He was born prematurely (on-screen) October 7, 2015. He has one older paternal half-brother Connor Newman. At the time of his birth it was believed that Sage's husband and Adam's half-brother Nicholas "Nick" Newman was his father. Christian was in the NICU for the first month of his life until the the doctor the who was treating him faked his death and gave him to mentally ill Sharon Collins in the mental health hospital. Sharon had been pregnant but miscarried. Heavly medicated Sharon was tricked into believing the Christian was here child. Sharon and Christian left the hospital and Sharon and her boyfriend Dylan McAvoy. Sharon and Dylan named him Sullivan "Sully" Collins McAvoy.

2010's:

Sharon and Dylan later married and were happy with their newborn son, until Sharon discovered that Sully was infact Christian in April 2016. Sage soon learns the truth as well but dies in a car accident on her way to tell Nick. Sharon keeps quiet about Sully being Christian until Nick discovers the truth in November 2016. Nick is reunited with his child. During the year that Christian was believed to be Sharon and Dylan's child, Adam is presumed deceased. Nick ends up engaged to Chelsea Lawson, Adam's widow and mother of Adam's other son. Connor and Christian were raised along together until Chelsea fed town but not before Chelsea reveal to Sharon and Phyllis Summers that Nick wasn't Christian's biological father. Sharon informed Nick and Nick had a DNA test that revealed that he was not Christian biological father. Nick didn't reveal that truth about Christian's paternity and continued to raise Christian as his son.

A year later in 2019, Adam returned to town alive and well. Adam and Nick soon engaged in a custody battle over Christian which Nick later won as he was only parent that Christian knew. Nick continues to raise Christian as his son and Adam has little involement with his son.
